Admissions

Entry to The Grange

We have a dedicated Admissions Secretary, Mrs Diane Jakes, who is here to assist you at every step of the entry procedure.  You are welcome to contact her direct by telephone 00 44 (0) 1600 710433 or email admissions@monmouthschool.org

Points of Entry

We normally admit new pupils in Year 3 at the start of the Autumn term.  However, we are prepared to consider applications for other year groups and at other times, subject to places being available.

Age 7 Entry Assessment (held in March)

For all candidates, we like to request a report from their current school and also invite them along for a brief interview.  If the dates are not convenient, we can sometimes arrange alternative dates and entry papers can be sent abroad for those living overseas.  Past papers and guidelines for the entry assessments may be requested from the Admissions Secretary.

Visiting the School

Mrs Jakes arranges Open Days for prospective pupils and their parents to visit the School.  There are two Open Days in October and one in January and May every year. However, if you would like to arrange a mutually convenient appointment to discuss matters privately with the Head Teacher and have a tour of the School, please contact the Admissions Secretary.
