The curriculum at The Grange is wide and varied and pays heed to the National Curriculum but is not restricted by it.

Subjects taught are English, mathematics, science, information and communication technology, history, geography, music, physical education, games, religious education, personal social and health education, drama, and, in Prep III and IV, French. Subject specialist teachers transmit their enthusiasm for their subject to each pupil. The degree of subject specialist teaching is a relatively unusual feature in a small school. Design and technology projects are a useful and enjoyable way of imparting practical skills, with boys co-operating on quite ambitious projects. The boys are involved, too, with such activities as product development, packaging design and the creation of marketing and promotional plans.
