Happiness and security at school are all-important. New boys are eased gently into the life and routine of the school and are encouraged to steadily become more organised and to take on greater responsibility for themselves and others.

A growing independence is encouraged. Each child is allocated a form tutor who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of his academic and pastoral welfare.
