Tockington Manor v The Grange

The Grange travelled away to Tockington Manor for their third match of the season. We won the toss and decided to kick to the opposition; Ollie got things underway and straight away Harry and Matthew put pressure on them which resulted in a scrum Grange ball. Owen spun the ball out wide and it got to Jamie who ran round the outside to score the first try for The Grange. The opposition kicked off and straight away Max ran off down the touchline and passed inside to Jamie who had a clear path ahead of him and scored the second try for The Grange to make the score 14 – 0. Tockington kicked off, and The Grange caught it and passed to Tom who went thundering off down the pitch and into their twenty two. The ball was quickly spun away to Mataius who came running in at an angle and broke through the defence to score under the posts. Jamie made the conversion for the third time to make the score at halftime 21 – 0 to The Grange.

The Grange received the kick off at the beginning of the second half. Hywel and Henry were rucking powerfully, winning The Grange more ball. They passed to their fast winger Henry who ran down the pitch and passed to Jamie who scored another try for The Grange. Tockington Manor kicked off and the ball bounced on the ground but Tom collected it. The ball was passed on to Owen, to Ollie, who passed to Jamie who ran up the pitch and scored in the corner. He converted his fifth conversion. The opposition kicked off and the ball bounced into touch to finish the game.

The final score was The Grange 35 – 0 Tockington Manor.
