On the 1^st March, The Grange, Monmouth Preparatory School, celebrated St David’s Day with a traditional Eisteddfod which saw the usual splendid array of beautifully crafted daffodils, dragons and castles as well as Welsh Cakes on the day.

Very well done to all who participated in the craft competitions, the recitations and the music events either in the heats (all of which earned House Points) or on the stage on the day. For the first time ever the Music Eisteddfod saw a straight draw between two Houses – Raleigh and Drake.
