Kymin walk with Inglefield House

Last week, Year 3 pupils from The Grange and Inglefield House spent a perfect autumn’s day walking up the Kymin.

As they walked up the hill, the children were able to look at some of the landmarks in and around Monmouth and to practise their orienteering skills.  It was also an opportunity to study some of the nature found in the woods on the hillside, and the children all made crowns from autumn leaves to take home as souvenirs.

It had not been long since many of the pupils had last seen their old friends from Agincourt School and so they were soon chatting happily together and playing in the freshly-fallen leaves.  The children had time to take in the spectacular views from the top of The Kymin before heading back to school after a very enjoyable day.
