There was music, laughter and delicious things to eat and drink at the “Lighting of the Grange Christmas Tree” on 1st December. The youngest boys worked out that the tree was about 4 times their height and had about 600 lights on it!

Prep III and IV boys enjoyed their annual party with Inglefield House, this time with a fancy dress theme. There were some imaginative costumes and everyone enjoyed the opportunity for games and some impressive dancing! Charities were well supported and this particular event raised funds for the NSPCC.
Boys arrived at school to find a deflated hot air balloon lying in the playground. It was brought along by Mr Brown, whose son, Gabriel, is in Year 3 (Prep I). Prep I were allowed to walk inside the balloon while it was partly inflated but had to come out before the gas was lit and flames heated the air inside the balloon. It was a wonderful sight as the basket began to lift.

Year 3 pupils from The Grange and Inglefield House spent a perfect autumn’s day walking up the Kymin. It had not been long since many of the pupils had last seen their old friends from Agincourt School and so they were soon chatting happily together and playing in the freshly-fallen leaves. The children had time to take in the spectacular views from the top of The Kymin before heading back to school after a very enjoyable day.
