PIV visit to Usk Museum

This term Prep IV (Year 6) has visited Usk Rural Life Museum twice as part of their history studies into Victorian life.  Our first visit was concerned with looking at pre-industrial Britain.  After a fascinating talk by the museum staff we explored the museum completing worksheets which helped us understand how hard life was in the mid 1800s. Our second visit was to watch an enactment.  Some of us took part taking on roles and even riding hobby horses around the museum.  It was an entertaining way to learn about history and we now all know more about life in Victorian Britain.
