On the final morning of term, Natasha Asghar, member of the Senedd, made a special visit to Monmouth Prep School to surprise Year 6 student, Sebastian S, and let him know that his Christmas Card was the winning design in the annual Christmas Card competition!
Sebastian’s creation has been printed and already delivered to King Charles, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the First Minister and all members of the Welsh Parliament. Natasha herself hand delivered one to the Prime Minister and said, “I gave it to the Prime Minister personally last week and he loved it!”
Hundreds of designs were entered from schools across Wales, but in the end Sebastian’s took the winning spot, featuring a beautiful marine life design.
